I had such a lovely stay at MONSUAU and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing adults-only break in Cala d’Or.
What struck me most was just how calm and tranquil the hotel felt, particularly considering I stayed during peak season in August. The whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and I genuinely felt myself switch off within the first day or two. The pool area was lovely and became especially peaceful later in the afternoon, which was probably my favourite time of day to enjoy it. My room was in Block 4 and had a large, private balcony surrounded by trees and palms, which I absolutely loved. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed.
The rooftop bar was another highlight with beautiful views towards the mountains and a gorgeous place to sit with a cocktail in the evening. I also really enjoyed the food at the hotel, and the staff throughout my stay were friendly and helpful. The location worked really well too, with beautiful beaches and coves within walking distance and plenty of restaurants nearby, while the hotel itself still felt tucked away and peaceful.
I originally came for a short break and ended up extending my stay because I simply wasn't ready to leave! That probably says everything. 😊"
