Hotel Tempo di Mare is in the perfect location, just an easy walk into the centre of Favignana for restaurants, shopping and the beautiful evening atmosphere. One of the things we appreciated most was the complimentary shuttle service. The hotel collected us from the ferry on arrival and dropped us back for departure, as well as running a shuttle to the island’s only sandy beach, which made getting around so easy. We also hired a little electric cart just down the road to explore the island, and bicycles are available to hire nearby too. Although the hotel was very busy when we arrived and our room wasn’t ready until later in the afternoon due to staff shortages, the team worked hard to have it ready as soon as possible. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast offered a reasonable selection, and as a family with coeliac disease, we appreciated that gluten-free options were available. Overall, this is a fantastic base for exploring Favignana. The location, helpful staff and convenient shuttle service made for a lovely stay, and we would recommend Hotel Tempo di Mare to anyone visiting this beautiful island.

A good overall stay. The staff were really nice - they went out of their way to accommodate you. The room was a bit small (even for a standard room) and had a window which overlooked some stores which were quite noisy in the morning. There was nowhere to hang a towel/swimwear to dry. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant was great. Being seafront, I had imagined that we would be able to swim there - unfortunately it’s a NO SWIMMING ZONE. The hotel is just a short walk from the centre and the harbour. All in all - a great stay in FAVIGNANA.

Calling this hotel a 4 star is a stretch. Very good shuttle service from the port. They say they have shuttle service to the beach, but it’s only one beach and the least beautiful. Our room was dated and the bathroom had lots of long black hair and the shower was disgusting. The worst was that we were kept up by the very loud banging noise from above us which was the breakfast room. Who knows what was happening there all night. Stay elsewhere.

This hotel is a great place to stay for a trip to Favignana! The convenience of transportation from the ferry terminal to the hotel is priceless. We often saw many tourists dragging their luggage through town to reach their hotel as many streets are not easily accessible. Also the hotel is a very short distance to the two main piazzas in town. The staff here is amazingly helpful to assist us in getting around. We were able to rent bikes from that front desk and have a designated place to park the bikes overnight. Also the convenience of the shuttle to Lido Burrone is amazing. There are stairs to climb to reach your hotel room so double check for accessibility issues. The only downside was the bathroom and shower seemed dated and a little moldy in spots. Otherwise the views from the hotel at spectacular and the bar at the front was the perfect place to unwind for a aperitif or cocktail in the evening!

Overall considered the hotels in the island this is a good option, especially in terms of position and structure state. Few turndowns were: staff in breakfast room not very present and generally not smooth organisationally speaking. All considered still a suggested pick!

Charming hotel with very slow service

Charming and clean hotel with a good location but extremely slow service. Checkin was delayed 1.5 hours and we tried to rent scooters through the hotel but we had to wait ages and got no service. Restaurant also very slow service, food took 40 mins and my girlfriend was served 10 minutes before me. If you go, skip the waiting line at the hotel and just eat and rent things other places.
