"Stayed for 3 nights in a sea view room. Everything was clean, fresh and as new, and we had our own terrace with a lovely view towards the coast. The rooms are situated up a steep hill, but otherwise was conveniently close to the main strip via Atenae in the heart of the old town. Violetta went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided us with all the information we needed to see the best of Agrigento. Would highly recommend."

"Ottima struttura situata al centro storico di Agrigento comodissima per muoversi e raggiungere in tempi brevi i vari luoghi di interesse circostanti. "The room and gardens are absolutely beautiful! It is very quiet and serene, and very special to stay in a room literally built against a cliff face. The minibar was well stocked, and prices were reasonable. The view to the Roman buildings is impressive during the day and at night as they are illuminated. A very easy walk into town, and the host have us several recommendations for restaurants. We are at Sal8, which was delicious and very busy/popular, so make sure to book!"

Villa Athena Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Very beautiful hotel, with lovely rooms, excellent service (special thanks to Francesco), and a beautiful swimming pool. It is ideally located near the Valley of the Temples (with breathtaking views from the hotel), as well as the old town, San Leone, the beaches, and the white cliffs of Scala dei Turchi. The only downsides were the bed, which was much too firm, and the fact that the air conditioning could not be set below a certain temperature because it was controlled by the front desk."

"Quirky BnB located out of town. Definitely need a car to get around as it is some distance to restaurants and cafes . However the staff were great as was the room , pool and breakfast. We were thankful for the airconditioning that worked extremely well on the water melt hot days . We would highly recommend this BnB ."

"Best stay I’ve had in Italy! The staff was super helpful and attentive. The rooms were spotless. The whole resort was spotless. The workers were constantly keeping veering up to date. The pool had a beautiful view of the valley of temple. There was a swim up bar at the pool. Loved the hotel and staff!"

"Villa Diana is a beautiful home in the countryside out of Agrigento. Dario is a consummate host: warm and gracious, generous and kind. The home is expansive, gorgeously furnished, and immaculate. We slept in the mandarin room - a large, comfortable bedroom with ensuite and large balcony. The breakfast is perfect and we would return again any time."

"Pros: -The room was very clean and included a small patio. They offered a daily cleaning service. -The breakfast was tasty. You have to pay extra, but it’s worth the money. -The staff is friendly. Cons: -There’s no pool. On the website, it looks like there is a pool on the property, but that photo is from the deluxe room and it’s a jacuzzi. However, they are building a pool that could be ready in 2027. -The roads around the property are tricky. When I drove to nearby beach in San Leone, my car got stuck on the steep hill near the hotel. Don’t take that road! -On the website, it said our double room could sleep 3. There is only one double bed and nothing else. This room is small and can only sleep 2. -A bit pricy for one small room that is not even on the beach."
