Great location - close to shops/cafes/restaurants/bars. Staff were really friendly and rooms/communal areas tidy. We would stay again (which is kind of the best test!!)

Only stayed one night but upon entry, our room smelled awful. There is no AC/power (which is common) until your card is in the room, but it was very stinky, 26 degrees Celsius when we got in. The walls were so dirty, several spill spots down them from previous guests and the bathroom light didn’t work. The bed itself seemed okay and sheets were clean but the walls and carpet were disgusting to be honest. Staff were very polite and friendly. Location as great also. But I would not stay here again because of the rooms.

Good location, good value for money, rooms get cleaned everyday if required, good bed & shower, but issues slow to get resolved.

A comfortable hotel (despite the absence of plate and cuttlery for breakfast on the first morning. It was obvious the ladies serving breakfast were rushed off their feet and had run out of plates, which, at 8.30 AM should not really happen so maybe the hotel needs to look at providing the staff with what they need, including possibly another member of staff to help!) The room and bed was very comfortable,, the bathroom was clean, and the hotel location was brilliant, literally around the corner from the pedestrian shopping area, and within a 5 to 10min walk from the marina and the old town. Would highly recommend for a quick escape / city break!

Location is very good, walking distance to all restaurants and downtown. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Parking is far from hotel but free.

Seul point positif : sa position centre ville. Ne mérite pas ses 3 étoiles. Infrastructures vétustes, ascenseur vibrant et grinçant, chambre petite. Moquette affreusement sale. Même après l'avoir signalé à la réception et demandé à ce qu'elle soit nettoyée, personne n'est venu, alors que nous y avons passé 2 nuits. Le ménage n'était pas encore fait à 14h. Donc pas possible de se reposer à mi-journée. La douche est minuscule, pas de bidet, pas de savon à disposition sauf un minuscule flacon non renouvelé pour la 2e nuit. Pas de gobelet à dents. Odeurs de cigarettes et de nourriture à la fenêtre qui donne sur la cour intérieure, bruits des moteurs de climatisation et avions qui passent non loin (aéroport). Petit-déjeuner industriel à éviter absolument. Nous avons cherché une boulangerie locale où manger portugais et non international industriel. Hôtel tristounet.

Our room did not have a proper shower cubicle. Due to room being a small rhombus shape the shower cubicle was the same, and was not large enough for someone to shower without hitting the shower bi-fold door. The door did not close properly so every time you shower the water went out the tray all over the small bathroom. The shower hose was split so half the water did not come out the shower head. There's no where to put hand soap at the sink and in the shower there was nowhere to put the bottles of shower products provided. Overall poor set-up. They should not be charging the same rate as other rooms which had a bathtub. The bed had a piece of 2inch thick foam, where the bottom sheet would come off. The hotel itself was located in very central location and staff were friendly. We didn't try breakfast, so unable to comment on that.

The property is in a good location close to transport facilities and is clean the staff are always helpful have used this property over several years and is now showing signs of a needed decorate.

Room was quite grubby in places, carpet very worn and areas in the room, the bathroom was nice and modern seemed to be the only thing that had been refurbished? In a nice safe area, really close to the front and local shops, id say its a 2-3 star rather than 3-4. Id recommend for 2 nights maybe which is what we did, thats probably enough in faro anyway as there isnt loads to do / see.

Great little hotel on the edge of old town. Breakfast is available for purchase but the Pastelaria across the street is amazing…don’t miss out on the pastel de nata and espresso! Everything is completely walkable and we had the best time there! Faro is small town friendly and we’ve never felt safer walking streets and back alleys at night. Take the tuk tuk tour to get an overview of the area and pay attention to the guide…he was a living history book and we had a great idea of what we wanted to see and in what order afterwards. Faro was amazing, you won’t regret your visit or this hotel.
