「Clean, comfortable, good service 」

「This hotel is excellent. They have thought of everything, from earplugs by the bed to a digital Robert’s radio playing classic fm when you arrive. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great bar and restaurant and wonderful staff. I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels and this is up there and way better than a lot of far more expensive places I’ve stayed. If I’m ever in the area this will be where I stay.」

Rooms facing the road might hear more noise from cars passing by. It would be better if the bath tub is changed to shower to avoid water splashing on the floor,...

「We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!」
