Welcome to this cozy and sunny cottage by the lake Holmevattnet which is pleasantly located in a cottage and villa area surrounded by beautiful nature and with the lake just below. Within walking distance in the area there is a nice swimming area with piers, picnic tables and swing set, there is also a boat dock for those who bring their own boat, canoe or kayak. Around the cottage there are great opportunities for hiking and in the surrounding forests there is both a rich wildlife and berries and mushrooms. The area is also well known for its good paddling opportunities ex. on the 40 km long raft trail that runs through lakes and streams, a fantastic opportunity to experience and explore parts of Bohuslän's and Dalsland's wilderness areas. The cottage is newly built in 2017 and is cozy, well equipped with an open floor plan and large windows facing south. Via the entrance you enter a hall, in this part the three bedrooms are located. One bedroom with double bed and two with bunk beds, then comes the laundry room with washing machine followed by a bathroom with shower and underfloor heating. In the southern part of the cottage is the well-equipped kitchen and living room, in the kitchen area there is a hob, built-in oven, fridge / freezer. microwave and dishwasher. The living room has a comfortable sofa group and a large TV, radio and Blu-Ray. The cottage has a fiber connection. On the covered terrace there is outdoor furniture and barbecue and from part of the terrace area you also have a lake view. A great place in a tranquil setting to discuss today's adventures or plan for new excursions. Munkedal municipality has very varied and worth visiting nature areas, everything from sea and fjord environments such as. Saltkällan with its sandy beach and salty baths to deep forests with lakes and rivers. The Örekilsälven River flows through Munkedal, which is a popular river for salmon fishing where many sport fishing enthusiasts have tried their luck over the years. From the cottage you can also easily reach other municipalities and excursion destinations worth visiting, for example. take the local road past Saltkällan, Skredsvik, Rotviksbro take a stop at "Två Fröknar" which is a cozy shop with both furnishings and clothes. Next door is the restaurant Stallgården, which also sells organic ingredients in the shop "Stallgården's pantry". Then continue with some shopping at Torp Köpcentrum or why not explore ex. Moose of Anneröd with its fantastic moose park or a visit to Bohusläns Museum. From the cottage you also make easy day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil, Smögenbryggan, fishing and boat communities in the northern part of Bohuslän. If you want to spend a day on the golf course, there are several nice courses within a couple of miles radius to choose from. Dagsholms GK in Färgelanda or Torreby golf course which is Bohuslän's oldest golf course, the course is located in a castle environment with an English-inspired castle park.
