Really interesting architecture. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Quick check-in. Room was a bit on the small side, but had a nice balcony. We enjoyed our stay.

Fint hotel til prisen. Lidt klaustrofobisk badeværelse. Men ellers rigtigt fint.

Cozy, clean, and the best staff.

The staff is excellent. Overall the food was very good. The accommodations are OK for the age and condition of the building. Definitely need to upgrade the mattresses. They have lived a good life, but I need to be retired. Wonderful views overall excellent experience.

The location is very convenient for touring Ribe. The owner is very nice and very helpful. We stayed in the courtyard room, and it was very nice. Older, of course, because it's in Ribe, but the shower was hot and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, and there's a bakery just up the street for on-the-road snacks. The parking was a little ways off at Lidl, but it was easy to unload/load nearer the hotel.

We came in September (off-season) so it was very quiet, peaceful. Our family of 4 stayed in a room with one double and one twin. Thought I booked a room with two doubles but we were tired and had to run to meet family so I didn't check my reservation until after it was late and we just needed to go to sleep. We slept fine with 3 in the double bed and 1 in the twin (small kids). The beds were comfortable. Only soap in the shower so definitely bring your own toiletries (and I did have ours)....

Excellent in every way.

Great place with a great view of the country side. The restaurant was also really good and charming !

The hotel has a great location inside the park, it is nice to wake up to great views and birdsongs. Also the staff was very friendly and serviceminded, and the food was good.

Earlier reviews showed some extreme emotions regarding this hotel. Personally, the opportunity to stay in a lodging from the 1600’s was something I couldn’t pass up. I was not disappointed. The restaurant downstairs added to the ambiance, with the sounds of dishes clattering, clanging bottles, and patrons reveling. We even heard the night watchman chant his tidings up the stairwell at 10PM. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you may get the feeling you are at The Three Broomsticks Inn/pub in...

The property was impeccably clean and very well maintained. Most importantly, Vicky and her team were wonderful; they were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful, treating us like family throughout our visit. The breakfast service was a particular highlight, the spread was fresh and delicious every morning. The location is excellent, situated within walking distance of a supermarket and pharmacy, and just a short drive to the beautiful shore of the North Sea, several local museums, and...
