「Motel was under renovation, so a bit messy. There is an ice machine, but did not use any of the amenities. Hotel seems to good value for what we paid.」

「Breakfast was over at 9:30. That was too early for us. Also there was a loud roaring noise that sounded like it was coming from behind the wall in our bathroom. We had to keep the bathroom door closed which kept the air conditioner from cooling it. Other than those 2 things, everything else was fine.」

「I would stay here again. It was great for the price. I probably wouldn’t swim in the pool. Breakfast was OK. Room was clean and decent. I felt safe here.」

「My room had all the important requirements, clean sheets, bathroom, and floors. Shower had hot water and great water pressure. The owner was kind enough to allow me keep my flowers outside on the sidewalk in front of my room. Nice and friendly old style motor lodge that were so prominent in my youth in the 60’s and 70’s. 」

「Place is clean and just far enough off the highway to reduce any noise from the highway room was excellant and everything was clean and well pt together the only issue is one of the two elevators is down for repair hopefully will be repaired before we return in a couple of weeks」

「The room was clean, but the air conditioner shut off in the middle of the night and the room got warm. The front desk reception did not tell us what time the continental breakfast opened. When we went to the breakfast in the lobby at 6:25 am....nothing was made or even out....not even hit water for tea. Disappointed.」

「The hotel was comfortable. Everything appeared to be moderately clean. We would have enjoyed the pool but it was too cold for us to use. Convenient location to everything we wanted to do. The room did not smell very good but we had a good time.」

「Minimally acceptable. Property in poor state of repair. Television service is all streaming and impossible to watch even local news and weather. We were assigned a smoking room as there nothing else available. The one ice machine is not available at night or early morning. Definitely would not recommend this facility」

「Wonderful area, lots to do & see. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. So very quiet up there, large porch, lots of rocking chairs & a swing. They had a spacious interior(living room & separate dining room), library with puzzles & games. Good Coffee & tea Excellent food! Staff was personable but were careful to give you space. Can't wait to go back!」
