What a fantastic stay in this hotel. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were always greeted with friendly, helpful staff, whether it be answering our queries or just saying a friendly hello as we passed. The services offered were amazing- free tea, coffee, cold water and fruit and the breakfast catered for all tastes. Thank you for a great stay.

Fabulous budget hotel

This hotel has everything you need for a budget stay in Falun, lovely staff, clean rooms, good parking, great breakfast, a very good gym facility, ironing room, and much more, all at a very reasonable price for the area.

Central location with walking distance to malls and restaurants. Friendly staff and complimentary fika. Breakfast was great with many options! Parking costs 110 for a day, which is worth it considering the location.

The hotel was worn down, dirty and out dated. We were there in July and the hotel didn’t have AC and it was miserable. The rooms were probably over 90 degrees and so was the common areas. The service was friendly but extremely slow.

Good location

The hotel is in a good location and was easy to find. Parking was challenging. Breakfast very good and we enjoyed drinks in the bar. Rooms are a little run down, lights burned out, etc, but we had a pretty good night's sleep. Was happy to make it to Falun and the outdoor mall area is very nice and close by.

Was severely disappointed by the breakfast this time around. During previous stays there has been a waffle machine for example. This was no longer available, and I could not even find bacon to have with the scrambled eggs. Rooms are quite pleasant however.

We're propably not coming back

Good bed, but the rest was dull, outdated and very worn out. Breakfast was to big for the staff to handle and keep fresh. And parking cost was way to high as a guest. Pity! Because location was good and staff friendly.

A hotel as it should be

It’s an older hotel, but the interiors have been renovated. My room was quite spacious and included a sofa seating area. It had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfy! I especially appreciated the entrance area of the room, where there was a bench designed for multiple purposes — a clever touch. Summer has just begun in Sweden, and the room was a bit warm. I found myself sweating at night due to the thick and cozy duvets. An air conditioner would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, water from the shower leaked into the toilet area. It dried up after a day, but the large gap beneath the glass wall caused the issue. Overall, I would definitely return! It was a pleasant stay with a wonderful breakfast selection and a lovely seating area.

Everything was excellent with the exception of the noise that the very heavy doors to the roommate as people were coming back in at night the walls would shake and the noise would be like someone slamming doors. This went on for about an hour repeatedly. Otherwise the staff was wonderful the accommodations were great the breakfast was one of the best ever and they had other options for playing pool and shuffleboard they had a bar and a dining room as well as a small area at reception if you wanted drinks and snacks as well. It had a great location within walking distance of several restaurants and stores
