"This is a one-of a kind old hotel in the center of Stenungsund, the rooms are small and quirky, not soundproof (you can hear snoring through the wall), but my room has a small balcony, a weird but fun bathroom sunken down a few steps, and the breakfast was great. It is tight with space, but cozy and old-fashioned Swedish way. I love it, but it will not be for people that want modern fancy. This is historical instead."

Room had a damp smell and we had to ask staff to empty the fridge, as it was full of someone else's food including half a packet of smelly meatballs. "The wellness experience was very pleasant. The gym had everything, including views and energy drinks for sale. I’ve never seen this in a Canadian or American hotel. The front desk was exceptional, and the hotel breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all great. Very happy with my stay here, the spa products, and the sauna experience."
