My mistake on booking but there's no disabled access or facilities. On the plus side the staff were fantastic, the breakfast was generous and tasty. The chef was happy to cope with requests. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment so some rooms are a bit dated whilst others are lovely. All refurbished areas, such as the lounge, bar and dining room are tasteful and easy on the eye. Not so good - the photo of the hotel's situation is misleading as it is not on the sea front. It is, in fact, a short walk down quite a steep hill to get to the sea front. The hotel appears only to provide evening meals if they have a coach party in and several places in the town shut down early or have no restaurant facilities. Oh did I say the staff are fantastic? Many thanks to them for being so friendly, helpful, good at their jobs, and just downright lovely people.

Good Afternoon Patricia, thankyou for taking the time to leave us feedback.We have a small free car park at the front of the hotel, if guests fail to find a parking space in the car park there is free residential on road parking either side and at the rear of the property. Our evening restaurant is only open for coach party bookings. We are more than happy to recommend restaurants nearby and even have a printed sheet listing where we recommend. Evening entertainment is put on for coach party bookings in the hotel bar/lounge area, it is not limited to private bookings as our bar is open for our guests and the public to enjoy. If you are interested in local entertainment in Exmouth we have many leaflets in our reception area advertising various music events/theatre/comedy in the local area. We are located behind the Exmouth Pavilion so in future we suggest taking a stroll down the seafront and checking the 'what's on next' board advertising various acts coming to Exmouth.Kind Regards

The staff were warm and friendly . Breakfast very good too. Shabby sheikh but being refurbished. The rates for three days b&b are better than staying at home. Will return.

We stayed at the hotel which was very close to the pavilion we were visiting for the evening. We had a twin room overlooking the beachfront, lovely views. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Shower wasn't very powerful and im not use to climbing in the bath to shower. Bar was good priced and good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely and very filling. Already booked to go back next month. Other hotels in the area are more expensive. I give this hotel a five star.

This hotel is a bit dated, but don’t let that deter you from making a booking. The facilities are adequate if you just want somewhere to stay. Good value for money and they even provide breakfast. Staff are very friendly and courteous.

The staff at the Ashton court hotel were very friendly and helpful but The room was dated dusty and dirty especially the bathroom! Impossible to have a shower as the water was either scalding hot or freezing cold, the breakfast was good value for money!

Check in was faultless, and staff charming and helpful. Room was fine but bathroom could do with updating/retiling/reselling etc. excellent breakfast - couldn’t fault it. It is clear that work is going on to improve the establishment not inside and out. Overall a good stay.

Our room was dirty and musty (smelt like an old peoples home) and very dated. The breakfast area and bar were newly renovated and very nice. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it, we had a drink in the bar in the evening which was average pricing and plenty of seating. Overall the hotel when fully renovated will be lovely.

Emilie and Alexis were very polite at breakfast. The food was served promptly, hot and a good standard and presentation. My room was a seafront facing single, and although in need of some repair and decoration (and heat) was assured by the owner that as the hotel had only been recently purchased, this was all an ongoing project. Spoke, a restaurant in the town owned by his son, was outstanding, and if that's the plan for Ashton Ct, I will definitely be back again. Thank you Paul for your hospitality.

The fairly new owner is gradually restructuring the hotel and it is paying dividends. The owner and staff are very friendly. The prices were very fair and the breakfasts were good. A nice break.

Good place to chill in the heart of exmouth
Two night relaxing break. Love the breakfast. You can choose what you want cooked to order. Room I was in was good size very clean sea view but there are rooms not that appealing. Nice lounge bar, the owner is a nice guy been in the trade a long time and knows how to keep the customer happy. Its a good location to get into town or the beach and not too pricey. Very nice staff.

This has the makings of a great hotel I love what the new owners are doing with it though initially i was put in one fo the older rooms which hadn't been refurbished the owner very kindly moved me to a newly refurbished room which was sumotuous and very comfortable, also the English breakfast was Excellent Also the location is fabulous looking out to sea and in close working distance to locla restaurants and tnhe town

Very dated , pillows were flat , breakfast pre cooked and Luke warm ,on a hill so very difficult with someone with bad back , booked a sea view no mention of room been in attic with tiny window so disappointed. One good point on arrival receptionist was lovely and very helpful .
