Amazing historic hotel, exceptional lobby and restaurant area, the room itself was very small because it was quarters for one monk. But the history of the property and location made this worthwhile.

An amazing hotel. Originally a monastery and the design and decor is incredible. Rooms are set up in the original monastery cells, and you have to duck to get through the door! Right outside is a Roman ruin. Parking is right behind the hotel. It is friendly and clean and an absolutely fabulous location.

This is a beautiful hotel encompassing an old convent that has been very tastefully renovated. Completely within the walled city to make visiting Evora quite easy. The rooms are actually the monks cells that have been renovated to provide very tasteful rooms. A very nice buffet breakfast is included to start your morning off right.

Amazing Historical Building right in the Centre.

Amazing building, beautifully restored and furnished. Really great breakfast. Service not always good. Reception staff very helpful& friendly. But sometimes difficult to find a bar person and some waiting staff not good.

We enjoyed staying in a historical property. The grounds were beautiful, and the pousada was perfectly situated to Evora's attractions, museums, shopping, and very high quality restaurants. The staff were friendly, and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast. The carpet in our room was little worn, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend to other travelers.
