Room was good for the price. As others have stated there are long term residents but all were respectful. We were on the back side and the view of the woods was very nice. The WIFI only seemed to work in the front by the office. They were helpful and apologized for the service not working and that they had called the internet provider. Was not a big deal for us but something to consider.

The heater in our room wasn’t working. Temperatures were very cold. We moved to another hotel for next day. Our dog found a pigs ear dog treat under bed. Other items including vape and half eaten food under bed and dresser. There were dead bugs all over, should have been cleaned better. Next day was offered another room but didn’t want to take another chance there.

The room smelled like mildew. I instantly started coughing and got sick from it. The room did not have WiFi as advertised. When asking one of the people cleaning they told us to tell management because most didn’t have it. The room is EXTREMELY old which I kinda expected. However the smell and lack of WiFi and cell signal combined became a huge issue.

This motel had only two good things about it. One: The main drag so I could watch corvettes drive up and down the road. Two: The dollar store next door, where I had to go but roach spray to spray my room. Imagine waking up to one crawling on you. Yuck. Not to mention they have people living in this motel, with dogs after they told us, no dogs are allowed in previous years. Plus the floors made our feet black on the bottom, need to at least try and vacuum every time. I think this is our last year at the establishment.

Very noise after dark, kinda run down. A lot of people living there full-time run down vehicles in the parking lot. Will not stay there anymore.

Not Safe!!

Immediately upon pulling in we could see this is no longer a hotel…it is long term rentals. The place was in horrible condition with people sitting out drinking and smoking. I went in and the front desk lady was sweet but no sooner than I came out with a key, a group of four people started screaming, shoving, and fighting. I went back in and told her we weren’t staying. She says my money will be refunded in 48 hours…if not, I’ll update. Please stay safe and keep your vehicle and contents safe…DO NOT STAY HERE!! Hotels.com needs to remove this place as a hotel, it is not!!

Property was old and run down. Room was dirty and had cob webs hanging from the ceiling. Bed was extremely extremely uncomfortable. I could see light around the air conditioner unit, plus I had to clean the filter myself. My room did have a nice view. As I was walking across the floor in my room I could feel "soft" spots giving under my feet. In general I was disappointed and feel like the owners have done nothing since it was new. The motel definitely needs updated and some TLC.

Pullin into the parking lot I could tell I had made a mistake. Office smelled musty and old and was dirty. Stair case to room had rust holes all in them and were littered with trash. Room stunk of cigarettes and moldy musty smell. Sheets were stained and had hair on them. Bugs and roaches coming out of bathtub drain.

I honestly do not know how this hotel could score an 8 to 10 as a lot of the reviews are stating. While I didn't see any actual dirt in the room, it smelled really bad. The carpet was filthy and needs replaced. Like, I didn't want to take my shoes off. We also went to Walmart and purchased pillows because the ones there were flat and yellowish with no cases on them. The mattresses are old and springy. The outside of the hotel was not in great condition and it smelled outside too. There are people living there full time I think. The man who checked us in was nice and helpful, but I do not recommend.

Great location, right on Vanburen road. We got the wooded view from the back. We had some real cool neighbors next door. Had a great time visiting with them. The weather was Great.

A roach in the tub and on me when I woke up. It's dated and some things are in bad shape. We had booked 2 nights and left after one night. They did refund the money for the second night.

Great view! Didn't get to use the pool but it was very clean., but no pool towels. Room was very clean. Looks like a brand new jacuzzi and shower unit. Need to have extra toilet paper on hand. I personally don't like carpets in the rooms, but it was very clean. Bed was ok. Plenry of towels. A/C unit needed some cleaning. Plenty of towels

Bed Bugs

Checked in after waiting 30 minutes for the clerk to return from lunch. Got in the room, turned the beds back and found active bed bugs in the bed!! Checked back out and had to find Lysol to try to clean off our luggage we laid on the beds.
