Air conditioning worked very well, pool was clean with brand new deck, had issues with door and had someone within a minute fixing it, great communication, rooms are bug free, plenty of towels, nice firepit, and 1 minute walk to trolly and food. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed the clean updated cute rooms.. Our favorite was going for a hike in the morning, stretching on the deck in the woods, getting in the sauna, and ending it with the cold plunge to help our tight muscles. Such a unique experience! Definitely recommend this place!

Great job on the updates/renovations at this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful before and during my stay, and the location was convenient to all of the attractions we visited in Eureka Springs. A couple of things I wish the room had were a microwave, a place to put soap in the shower, and a bar in the shower to hang towels...all minor things though...thanks for a great stay!

This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was great.They went above and beyond anything that we asked. We loved the sauna, their pool and the little walking trails. They have live music on saturday night, that we quite enjoyed. We cannot wait to book our next day there.

We loved the sauna/cold plunge. Rained on our trip so wasn't able to use the pool but it looked inviting. The location was very well located. We enjoyed how the property was off the main strip for its quietness. Bed was very comfortable, nice shower and room temperature was perfect. Disappointment is it didn't have a coffee pot in room. Would return to this property.

Incredible place. The glass mirrored sauna tucked in the forest was totally unexpected. They’ve got really nice walking trails throughout. Only about 5 minutes from town which is super convenient, and there’s a trolley stop right out front. What a hidden gem!

We booked forest springs resort for a long weekend and honestly didn’t want to leave. The property is tucked right into the pines, you feel like you’re away from everything but can still get to downtown for dinner in mins. We spent most afternoon out on the deck with drinks, hitting the sauna in the evening and hanging out by the fireplace at night. If you’re looking for somewhere to actual relax and unplug this is it!

This motel/spa is a work in progress but will get a 5 star solid review once they fix the kinks. The map on the website is not to scale so I couldn't figure out where the sauna was located which I was really hoping to use. There wasnt any sinage easily visible that directed you to its location. Once I found it the door was locked! Only to later discover it just was that hard to open but....by that point I was needing to check out. The walking trails in the back of the property are magnificent! Wow! Truly spectacular and worth staying for that alone. The room is lovely. No coffee makes though and you literally have to leave the hotel and go down the street to a gas station or coffee shop to get some. No cups either for water or to rinse your mouth out with. If you are a side sleeper that bed was brutal and punishing. My partner found it comfy since he sleepy on his tummy and didn't mind the firmness. I did meet the owner the following morning and he asked for the feedback. I was honest. He took notes and assured me they would add signage, make coffee available on the property and provide cups. As for the mattresses they had already ordered then for the rooms. (The hotel is being remodeled so there was only a few rooms available) I sugested get a memory foam topper like most upscale properties. He took my suggestions seriously and I know they will follow through. Lastly: the linens and robes. OMG! Simply Devine. I never knew sheets towels and fabric could be memorable!

The entire property is being remodeled. We were notified the day before our stay that key amenities (pool, spa, breakfast, etc.) would be unavailable. Cancellation was offered, but we only needed a place to sleep, so we stayed. We arrived around 3 p.m. while crews were still working, and their music carried across the property until about 5 p.m. The rooms appeared recently finished but still had strong paint/off-gassing odors. Our biggest issue was the exterior doors—no weather stripping or thresholds, with visible gaps letting in daylight (and potentially bugs or small animals). Only one room in our row had a proper seal; I was able to switch rooms. Each room had a porch light but no switch to control it. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft. The AC/heat worked well and was fairly quiet. No fridge in the room, though one was available in a shared laundry area. Soundproofing is poor—we could clearly hear neighbors above us early in the morning and late at night. There was also debris scattered on the hillside outside. Nearby dining helped salvage the stay—McGarity’s was excellent. The fire pit area was enjoyable, though lacking proper extinguishing resources per posted rules. Overall, not a terrible stay, but it didn’t live up to the name, photos, or expectations. Might be worth revisiting after renovations are complete.

We stayed here for our 1 year anniversary! It was the best experience!!! Beautiful area, the resort had so many fun things for us to do and they brought in a live band in the evening for us to enjoy. They made our experience amazing!!! Would definitely recommend staying here. We will be back.

I was excited to stay here until I actually checked in. I reserved a "forest view" room which is at the very back of the property and turned out to be kind of creepy. It's just the small parking lot jutting right up to the woods where the hotel also left some construction scaffolding and random table & chairs in the parking spaces. If I had seen actual pictures of this area before booking I would have picked another room. (Courtyard view looked great!) Upon entering, I noticed the room wasn't as clean as expected. I get that it's right by the forest, but there were lots of bugs IN the room, living and dead! A huge dead spider right by the bed, bugs crawling around the sink area. Throughout my stay many bugs snuck in. If you're sensitive to bugs, reconsider your stay. The floors were also dirty. I couldn't walk around barefoot. There were multiple drink rings left on the bedside tables. The bathroom had a STANK like someone missed & didn't clean it up. The a/c unit ran very humid (leaving some of my clothes feeling damp & weird) & smelled like a pond. At the time of my stay there was still construction going on. The noise was INSANE. It was right above my room & literally was going on at ALMOST 5 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING. Huge bangs and walking around like elephants at 4:47am through the entire morning. I could barely sleep the whole stay. The construction/grounds crew also kept looking in my window when they passed by. It was so uncomfortable & creepy.

This is a nice property that is not completely renovated. Room was comfortable, clean, there was plenty of room for our dog's kennel and personal items. The grounds/trails are nice. Pool area looked nice but the weather was too chilly for me to want to use it. The breakfast area was not completed. The rooms were not very soundproofed...you could hear TV/music from other guests as well as heavy walking. TV stations were limited and it buffered frequently. The keypad on the door was tricky to use too. Overall, the owners have a good vision to update this property to a resort like place, it's just not there yet.

Great staff. The facility was undergoing a major remodel. My room was done but smelled really strongly of chemicals (new paint, new floors, new everything) and it was overwhelming for me. I opened the window, but there weren’t screens, and since this is still a motel, it wasn’t super safe. I think the smell (and hopefully screens) will be fixed soon but it might be best to wait a little longer until things are sorted. The room did have really soft towels and a lovely bathrobe and I loved access to the sauna and cold plunge.
