"This is a baffling property. The public rooms are a disaster. Stained and dirty carpet. Unfamiliar odors. Scars on the walls. Peeling paint. Huge pot holes in the parking lot. And there's more. However, the rooms are sparkling clean, newly renovated, and very comfortable. The price is right. Usually the lowest in Nacogdoches. There appears to be a large contingent of regular visitors. Several of the guests seem to know one another and to know the staff at the front desk. There's a pavillion on one side with two or three barbecue grills for guests to enjoy a break in the shade. It's a pleasant place to use as a base for a visit to Nacogdoches. We go often to see our daughter/granddaughter at Stephen F Austin University."
