「Great service and a great location, you wake up to such a beautiful view!
I arrived close to midnight, and they asked me if I had eaten. They were even ready to cook something for me! 5 stars, will definitely recommend!」
「Lovely front desk lady and everyone who works there. Nice cosy room clean and has all what you need . Breakfast it’s great local food coffee tea . It’s located very close to everything. Room was good for 1 night stay as bathroom a bit tight .」
「The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the young man at the front desk, who have is great suggestions for food and things to do, always checking to see how his recommendations went for us.」
「Beautiful hotel with very nice rooms, wonderful finishes, and spectacular views over Gjirokastër and the valley. The main drawback is the hilltop location: walking to and from the Old Town is extremely steep, so you will likely rely on taxis, which adds some friction if you want to explore frequently. The staff are friendly and genuinely helpful, though service can feel somewhat unpolished. The food is okay, but I found the restaurants in the Old Town much better. Overall, a lovely place to stay...
「The location was awesome. Super easy to walk everywhere, fairly level to get to the Bazaar (which is rare based on what we saw). We walked to the castle as well, a bit uphill, but that’s true of every rental in town. All in all A++ for location.
The dinner was absolutely delicious…there meatballs were incredible. Breakfast was excellent.
The staff was great, super friendly. The room was a great mix of old and modernized.
We thought Silver Hill was awesome. I’ve already recommended it...
「We loved staying at Amalia’s house. Everything was spotless and cozy, and very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and it’s very easy to access the main areas of Gjirokastra with a quick walk up the hill. We’d love to come stay here again!」
「Beautiful hotel. Perfect location & easy to get to by car. Parking is limited but there are spaces, and staff will move your car for you if needed.
Room was spotless and beautifully decorated in traditional style.
Breakfast was delicious, traditional platter of olives, cucumber, tomato’s & watermelon, bread basket & spreads & jams, plus some cake & pastry with fig jam and on top of that a fresh omelette & a sausage. Coffee, juice & water in offer for drinks. Would definitely recommend this...
「I had a wonderful stay here. The accommodation was very clean and only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the town center.
What really made my stay special was the family. They were incredibly kind, warm and welcoming. The guest house is family run, which gives it a very personal and authentic atmosphere. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious fresh breakfast.
If you like things simple and authentic, without all the unnecessary fuss of overpriced luxury hotels, this is the place for you. And if you want...
