Expedition Lodge is a great place to stay when visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s slightly outside of the downtown area with great Mountain View’s. The breakfast is very good, consisting of Elk Chili, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, waffles and toast. The coffee is good. This is an older hotel but is well maintained. I’d stay here again.

The rooms were clean. The upper deck was so nice to sit on and enjoy the views. Breakfast didn’t start until 7:00 am. This is too late when headed out for adventures. Other than that, it was a great stay.

About a mile from downtown but amazing lake views. Great porch with view of lake and mountains with fire tables and seating. Pool was very cold. A/C unit was loud and there’s a fair amount of noise transfer between rooms.

The young gentleman who checked me in was awesome! So helpful, ty. Great location. 5 minutes to RMNP. Sat and have breakfast over the lake, mountains in a herd of elk right outside the deck crazy amount of amenities. There’s even an arcade room if you have little kids.

Ron was clean though you can see the wear and tear. Breakfast was an odd mix of cereal, cut up hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese and waffles. The hotel is across the street down the Estes Lake so very nice to go there with pets.

When this was a new hotel, holy cow it must have been a treasure. Good location and lots of different places to see. Good breakfast with lots of room to dine. The heater in the room was very loud, but worked good. I’ll be back!
