Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Riad in the Heart of Essaouira

Accommodation was great, plenty of space and well decorated. Breakfast was a nice way to start the day and the rooftop seating was a great spot to chill.

Excellent riad with great location

Very charming Riad in the center of town. Very nice rooms and super friendly staff. We absolutely loved it and will for sure be returning. Highly recommended!

A very charming well situated riad. We had a lovely room - everything was spotless - and we enjoyed relaxing on the pretty roof terrace. The freshly made pancakes at breakfast were delicious! The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful 🙂. We would love to go back.

Excellent find in the Medina of Essaouira. Beautiful, individualized rooms. Very friendly welcome and reliable service. Good breakfast with Moroccan pancakes. Central location in quiet side street.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Amana. Great location within the medina, and really friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean. It should be noted, however, that the medina is loud at night. That is not a criticism of Riad Amana, as it probably applies to all hotels and riads within the medina. We didn't mind, but if you're a light sleeper you'd probably prefer staying in a hotel outside of the medina.

Wonderful stay at Riad Amana. I loved every part of it. The riad is beautiful, clean, warm, with a real human soul and located just in the center of action, 20 steps into the main street and 5 mins walking distance from every part in Essaouira. The whole staff is incredible and you will feel Myriam and Fatima are your longtime friends. Will come back, thank you!

Great reception on arrival. The staff is kind and super friendly. Having breakfast was a real treat. You can customize it as you want. The riad is beautifully decorated, very quiet but right in the middle of the souk. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and we felt like a part of the family after 2 days. The terrace room was lovely - tasteful and stylish decoration, huge and unusual. We loved it. We had a cookery class at the riad with Fatima. After shopping with her in the market we cooked a chicken tagine with aubergine salad. It was a lot of fun and food always gets to the heart of a culture. Of course the best part was eating it. Thank you to Meryem and all the staff for making our stay so special and memorable.

Right off a main walkway in the middle of the medina (old town). The inside is like a quiet oasis from the bustle outside, each room decorated different. My first stay in a riad. Traditional but modern. Not accessable by car, about a 10 walk from road. If you have luggage, there are porters with wagons that will pull your stuff for you.

During our 2 weeks traveling through Morocco, we chose a mixture of riads and hotels to stay in. Riad Amana was on the lower end of the list of stays we enjoyed. We had the Chefchaouen room for the 2 of us, which was spacious and large. Unfortunately the back alley directly below the room had loud yelling/noise until 2AM each night. We got no sleep during our 2 night stay in Essaouira. The amenities and services are lower quality at this riad as well. Expedia reflects that there’s daily housekeeping - no housekeeping was provided and towels were not changed at all. There was barely any toilet paper and they didn’t provide shampoos/conditioners. Breakfast was basic staples and you have the option to add on eggs at additional cost. Staff are very friendly. Syed was helpful. The location is phenomenal as it’s a quick walk. Therefore, this is a good option for backpackers, budget travelers, and groups of friends instead of couples or quieter families I’d say.
