Excellent hotel choice in Essaouira

What a lovely stay! Within the walls of the city and a 3 min walk to the beach! This spot was special. We had a basic room and still had lovely high ceiling bedroom. The major selling point was the helpful and personal customer service and the terrace views over the beach.

However, most rooms are around the communal area, making it quite loud at busy times (cleaning on an evening and breakfast). Great location. Beautiful sunset and sunrise views. Perfectly situated to the Medina and the port and restaurants and shopping. Decent breakfast spread. That said our room overlooked the communal garbage bins and the flood lights that light the media wall make eye mask for sleeping essential. Small price to pay. Would recommend.

Lovely riad--the rooftop terrace has million-dollar views. Our room was comfortable (prepare for a super-firm bed!) and clean. The location was excellent, at a quiet corner of the medina looking out onto the beach. Kind and informative staff (thank you Galene!) and yummy breakfasts. Would definitely stay here again.

A terrific property, friendly staff and one of my favorite breakfasts in all of Morocco! Our room faced the ocean and it was a lovely view. The rooftop is magnificent. Make sure to get reservations for their restaurant next door, it was absolutely delightful. We stayed for one night and it wasn’t enough. Can’t wait to come back!

Madada Mogador was such a great find. Our room was on the terrace over looking the ocean. A gorgeous place to watch the sun set over the water and equally as lovely to wake up to. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was worth the visit on its own. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were excellent, eggs of your choice, fruit, breads, orange juice and tea or coffee, all served with a warm smile from the lovely ladies who looked after us so well. The hotel has a few restaurants in its chain and they are all excellent, saves time wandering around trying to find somewhere to eat and making costly mistakes. The hotel booked all our reservations and our horse back ride at sunset on the beach. Cannot recommend Madada highly enough.

Fantastic stay

Hotel was excellent with super friendly accommodating staff. We stayed for 5 days in the loft (family room) which was spacious for 3 (king and two twins with two bathrooms). The kitchen is not really functional (there is no fridge or anything to cook with or dinnerware). However, they happily allowed us to put wine in their fridge though! The loft is in a bit of an odd location- you walk through their kitchen to access. Being close to the kitchen also means some noise in the morning if you are a light sleeper. The breakfasts were so delicious and location perfect. The rooftop deck is amazing for breakfast or watching the sunset. Their restaurant is also outstanding. Would definitely stay here again!

Madada Mogador is a beautiful hotel located in the perfect location, right on the walls of the old city, where most tourist attractions and activities take place. The hotel is in close proximity to the port and the beach, making it easy to explore the city's sights and sounds. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a separate loft area that was perfect for three people. However, the artificial lighting was low and made the room dark at night. Additionally, the framed picture in the room could be replaced with something more impactful and characteristic. The hotel's customer service was exceptional, accommodating all your requests in a professional and efficient manner. The reception staff went above and beyond to ensure your stay was comfortable and enjoyable, from booking restaurants to arranging activities. The Art Cafe suggestion they made resulted in the best experience of your trip. The restaurant located below the hotel offered great modern cuisine options in a sophisticated yet relaxed environment. Although slightly expensive, the food and drinks were worth the price, making it one of the best restaurants in the city. In summary, Madada Mogador is an excellent hotel with an unbeatable location, exceptional customer service, and great amenities. It is highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Essaouira, Morocco.
