「This old-fashioned guest house is a lovely place to stay in the central Durban area. We really appreciated the ease of getting around -- easy access to many good things. The owners are friendly, and the staff are outstanding. We enjoyed our stay very much.」

「I had a lovely stay. Beautiful virw over the city from upper level Can highly recommend the spa」

「I stayed at Southey House for two nights and it was a very nice stay. The room was clean and spacious and had a refrigerator and water, coffee and tea. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, oats, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. The bed was very comfortable and had a nice and varm duvet. 「Great locationIt was a good relaxed and quite stay. Host is welcoming and very helpful. I certainly will be booking for my next stay in the city. I can’t rate excellent, as there is always a room for improvement. I recommend Mackaya Guest Hiuse! 」

「The apartment was lovely, despite a few minor details. I would highly recommend it as a holiday venue, as it is right on the beach, and easily reachable by road from anywhere in the city. The amenities in the apartment are very good, clean, and well-maintained for a self-catering stay. The reception ladies were very warm and welcoming; it was like coming home. They reacted immediately to any concern or request; their professionalism is of the highest level. The view of the harbour and passing...

「Best place to stay in Durban, such a peaceful and calm environment.」
