"Nice characterful hotel that is well maintained. Deluxe bedroom was large and had comfortable bed and large bathroom. Our room could have done with blackout curtains as the lights that lit up the building shone through into the room all night. The hairdryer kept cutting out after using it after just 2 minutes and could not use it again until it cooled down, so went out with wet hair. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of continental items. Staff was attentive with making sure no items ran out. We were in room 101 which was accessed within the stair and lift lobby. The noise from guests late at night talking outside our room in the lobby and the noise of the lift spoilt what would have been a pleasant stay."
