OK Hotel for one night

I stayed there with my family for one night. It's a good location when need to stop for a night whilst driving through Germany. Otherwise, it's in the middle of nowhere and there is not much to do.

Eine einzige Baustelle voller Dreck und Lärm

Das Hotel wird gerade saniert, es ist daher alles voller Baustaub und Dreck, das Erdgeschoss ist komplett entkernt, siehe Fotos. Im Zimmer morgens daher lauter Lärm von der Baustelle. Außerdem die ganze Nacht tieffrequentes störendes Wummern und Vibration einer Maschine (zentrale Klimaanlage?) welches aus der Umgebung meines Zimmers im 4. Stock kam. Kein Frühstück verfügbar, da Umbau. Abendlicher Check-In war ebenfalls nur nach Telefonaten mit der Notrufnummer möglich, das System war nicht über meine Buchungsnummer informiert. Ich finde es absolut inakzeptabel, dass der Gast in so einer Umgebung übernachten soll, und darüber nicht zuvor informiert wird.

Morgens um 8 ging der Bohrer los, ca. 50 Minuten am Stück. Nicht gerade von Vorteil wenn man mal ausschlafen wollte. Um 9 Uhr kam dann das House Keeping, obwohl überall gepriessen wird das vor 12 Uhr keine Zimmerreinigung stattfindet. Ich werde bis auf äußerste Notfälle nicht mehr bei dieser Kette buchen.

Es waren ein Paar kleinere Mängel z.b. Türe war das Ende Abgesplittert. Durch Umbau arbeiten wird dies bestimmt behoben es gab noch ein Loch in der Wand.

Man hatte seine Ruhe, das personal war höflich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer und Bettwäsche waren sauber. Obwohl das Hotel nahe an der A3 liegt war es sehr ruhig. Alles in allem es erfüllt seinen Zweck.
