「The location is great, literally minutes away on foot from the main sights of Pécs. The room is kind of small though and we were glad we left our suitcases in our hotel in Budapest because they would not have fit into the room. There is a table and chair in our room but I doubt if anyone could sit comfortably on the chair as there is not enough space to pull out the chair entirely. Other than size, it's a comfortable room. There was no kettle but we managed to borrow one from the reception.」

「The welcome was exemplary, very friendly and helpful (even happily supplying a spare UK/EU adapter as mine was left in a Budapest cafe that day!) Everything else exactly as was needed for a very pleasant stay in a wonderful city.」

「We booked the Vulkan Wellness Panzio Hotel and arrived at 3.55pm. We were told there was a receptionist until 8 pm but no one was there. There was a notice on the door to ring. We phoned the number and were told no room was alocated to us but we had been given a room in the sister hotel. It took us some time and a number of phone calls and an email to the same person to gain the address of this second hotel due to language barriers. 「Average food, high prices but very bad beds and pillows. Mattresses so hard they gave me aches and cramps. They’ve clearly scrimped on the mattresses here and for 250 euros a night it’s a joke. Avoid 」
