Made reservations in March for August. The morning we were on the way, I received a call from the owner stating that storms had come through the evening before, and they were without power at the time. Obviously this was beyond anyone's control. She handled it beautifully. She was honest and told us without power they just couldn't ensure they would be ready for us. Totally understandable.
We were able to locate a nice place with a vacancy in Baileys Harbor. We were able to head to Somerset for the second night. They were super friendly and accommodating on the phone and in person. The grounds were lovely, the pools are great. We stayed on the second floor, the hallway was warm, but our room was very comfortable and cool. It was lovely with a balcony .
The only drawback was, there isn't an elevator for moving luggage between floors. Other then that, it was a lovely place and stay. The owner and staff were super.
