"The hotel was lovely very nice room and spa facilities were good. Pool a bit small but perfect for a dip. Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. By 11.30 pm I went to reception and asked them to turn it down. Originally I had thought it was some kind of disco from the restaurant it was so loud! The guy behind the counter was apologetic and turned it off. However it was on again at 6am!! So my advice to anyone thinking of staying in this hotel is to ask for one of the rooms in the outhouses NOT the main hotel, if you want some sleep anyway!"

"Very pleasant stay, our room was upgraded and recently refurbished, nice coffee machine, very clean, very good value. Note that parking onsite is £15 per 24 hours or £( for 5 hours. Convenient EV chargers is the car park though."

"Disappointing and overpriced stay Booked Drift Inn for a birthday stay mainly for the pool/sauna, but left really disappointed. Decor is bright and modern, and the room was clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. Corridors smelled nice too. But there were visible stains and the room was far too hot. No air con and the fan was useless. I slept outside the duvet and my husband was sweating all night. Reception felt impersonal with self check in screens. Staff member looked bored and was vague when we asked about the pool, just pointing “over there” across the car park. Cafe Bar was a let down. Tables were dirty with old plates left. We were told we could eat outside, chose a sunny jetty table, then told after 6pm food wasn’t allowed there, only in the shaded area. This wasn’t explained upfront. We didn’t eat as it felt unclean and badly run. Leisure facilities are in a separate building across a car park/road and run by another company. We were told to call ahead as access isn’t guaranteed due to classes, even on a Sunday. Not the relaxed experience advertised. Breakfast food was nice, but layout poor. By the time you’d fetched everything it was cold. Poached egg arrived as we finished. Menus cleared early. Not a cheap stay. Felt disjointed and not worth the money. Wouldn’t return."

"The buffet breakfast looked appealing at first, but unfortunately, most of the food was either cold or only lukewarm. The menu was the same each day, which quickly became repetitive. The pancakes and waffles were especially disappointing—cold and hard, which is not what you would expect. Additionally, serving syrup and toppings from open containers felt awkward and less than ideal. The rooms themselves were clean, which I appreciated, but there were several inconveniences. I had to request a mini fridge, and even then, it did not get very cold. There was no air conditioning, so I had to rely on opening the window for cooler air. Washcloths were also not provided initially and had to be requested. The gym appeared well-equipped, but it was closed for several days during my stay, which was frustrating. Dining was also underwhelming—the steak was thin and not worth the price, and honestly should be reconsidered for the menu. The pizza lacked flavor, and even small details like drinks at the bar fell short, with minimal ice and overall not meeting typical standards. Overall, while the property has potential and maintains cleanliness, there are several service and quality issues that need improvement to meet expectations."

"Great hotel and reasonably placed. Great to have facilities to make your own food with a shop downstairs. Bar area was lovely and gym is ok for a hotel - a little small. Rooms were really comfortable"
