"Filthy and trash on the floor and hair and urine in toilet. Found rotting food behind tv. Stained bed spread. Grass outside was terrible with pee and poop. Gross"

"Rooms clean & great bed&bedding. Rooms need refreshing. Getting tired looking. Breakfast staff disorganized & slow to keep coffee & food filled. I am celiac & didn’t ask for anything as brought my own bread for toast. Last visit in October on way to AZ, had a GF muffin given yo me by staff & was terribly sick. Didn’t chance it again. Usually stay there 2/x year. "

"Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ely by IHG is the best alternative, in my opinion, to The Prospector Casino right next door. Breakfast is filling and free coffee is available in the lobby 24/7 for the coffee lovers like me. The not so good was that the fridge in my room did not have a freezer, as a result, I had to eat the 3 frozen meals I brought with me all at once, otherwise they would have gone bad; the ice machine on my floor was not working, and the staff could be a tad friendlier. Overall, it was a good place to stay. "
