I grew up about 17 miles south and my mom shopped in Shenandoah all the time, so driving down Sheridan Avenue was a trip down memory lane. It was fun talking with front desk staff when checking out about memories from over 50 years ago."

"A very different stay was my experience BUT in a GOOD WAY. The cabin design is enjoyable, you might think your in the mountains but it’s still Clarinda Iowa however some very good restaurants do exist in a town of five thousand it’s remarkable…. I recommend "

"Basic type of hotel room. Comfortable bed and pillows. The coffee machine wasn’t working well and was at best “weak.” The staff was helpful when we had an issue with our sink. Bottom line: value for the price in Shenandoah and a decent place to bunk!"

"There were some folks who started a ruckus in the parking lot in the middle of the night. Local police came and handled it. Can’t blame that on the hotel."

"Room was dirty. Pillows were flat and worn out. Flight of stairs to an accessible room. 1 towel for 2 people. Internet was spotty. I guess a bargain isn’t the way to go "

"This hotel has been run down considerably in the past 4 yrs I’ve been traveling to the area. I’ve stayed here multiple times and it keep getting worse. This time the office chair was literally broken and threw me into the floor. When I went to call the front desk, the phone wasn’t working so I had to go down there. Their solution was to simply take a chair from the room next door. Lots of sketchy ppl staying there as well. "
