「The hotel was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent (119) with king size bed and plenty of room. The bathroom was newly decorated and the shower very good. The room, corridors and reception area were clean and tidy. 「A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised.」

「We were the first overnight guests for the new owners and forced them to accelerate their plans for taking guests! They were lovely and could not have given us a warmer welcome.
