My partner and I were on our honeymoon and arrived from Athens on an early flight with little sleep. She went above and beyond to accommodate an early check-in so we could rest, which we greatly appreciated. The location is convenient, close to the port but not much immediately closeby. So, you’ll likely need a car unless you want to spend all your time walking. Our hotel room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. One area for improvement is the breakfast, which could be warmer, particularly the eggs & a toaster to toast your bread. 「Even before arrival, Mary reached out. Upon arrival she was extremely efficient, helpful and friendly! Melagrana is a beautiful hotel with a lovely outdoor patio, and evey room amenity one could need. The location is prime for access to the port, restaurants, transportation and shopping. 「Giannis was very attentive and customer oriented. He actually drove us to our room in 2 groups. The reason I rated the overall trip at 2 stars was the billing problem. I paid the bill in advance through Hotels.com. Dimitri (I’m not sure his role) told me this shouldn’t have happened. He tried to bill me full price again.
