Our room and bathroom at Flamingo were clean and satisfactory. It’s basic accommodation at a rock bottom price: comfortable bed, big screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee station at the sink, secure WiFi of which the owner claims he’s not had any complaints in the 18 years he’s owned the place. The location is not scenic, but it feels safe enough. Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy is a local fast food institution and just a short walk away, open till 10:45 pm. This was a great economical spot for a quick nights stay on a road trip. Room was clean, I like the old motor lodges where you can park directly in front of the room. It’s definitely not a resort so don’t expect high end, but it was perfect for my needs. Cool Route 66 and local history museum about a mile up the road and plenty of fast food options. And a grocery store nearby

The room was so clean and the bed was comfortable. My favorite was the shower water pressure. First room on this trip that I was happy with everything and it was not expensive. It felt good to help a small business!!
