「La carretera hasta llegar al alojamiento es un poco delicada para la gente que no le gusta mucho las curvas, pero el esfuerzo de recorrerla mereció la pena. Está situado en un enclave privilegiado, rodeado de montañas y naturaleza, con unas vistas espectaculares desde su terraza. 「We just spent three nights at Hotel La Colina in Gijon, Spain. I have to say it’s been the highlight of our European trip. The location is secluded outside of town, but you can get into town in 10 minutes. We ate breakfast in the cafeteria every morning and the food and service were wonderful. The rooms were great, the views are fantastic, along with the hiking paths and best of all the staff were some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our trip. Highly recommended, and we will be back.」

What slightly let it down for me was that it doesn't quite have all the amenities listed - or it's complicated! The website says bike hire on site but actually they do not have bikes on site - you'd have to book via a different company who deliver the bikes etc... not straight-forward. More geared towards serious cyclists with their own bike. But that wasn't...
