From checking in, the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had great view from the deck over the beach. Hotel is maintained and being improved but a little dated although that didn't bother us. Great value for the price and rooms have fridge and kettle, restaurant is open air and nice for sunset.
A less busy beach than El Nido with tours still available from the beach if wanted and kayaks at the hotel. Staff can help with any of your requests to adventure around and experience this beautiful area of Palawan!

Staff are friendly the place is safe and very convenient on transportation anywhere you want to go. Close to everything.
Really enjoyed the stay. Just enough out to main town so you can detach but still within walking distance to everything. Breakfast was good and a great cup of coffee to aid a hangover.
Very charming , laid back relaxing place. Right on a nice beach and close to shopping and entertainment. Not an Upscale 5* but certainly comfortable and clean.
Not much available in town.
Nice staff. Bev is friendly and helpful.
Our oceanview room was spectacular due to the view.
The room itself is a conglomeration of what ever materials they had laying around.
Highly recommended! We had the large room on 3rd floor, nicely furnished. N.b. some steps are w/o handrail. A small good breakfast included. Fantastic sunset view from the hotel. One of the nights we were disturbed by music from neighbouring area.

Simple Hotel at the beach with restaurant
I mainly likes two things about this Hotel, the location at the beach and the view from the Seasiders, especially from my balcony which was fantastic (I orderedea room with sea view). Other than that the hotel was pretty simple, the stairs to my room was a bit hard to climb with a suitcase. The weak spot of my room was the bathroom. It was small, had a plastic tank that took up some room in the shower, no hot water, no soap, you had to manually turn on water to the toilet, and one out of three mornings the water was turned off in the bathroom.

Disliked: Amenities
It's a Filipino resort that looks and feels like it was built and furnished from leftovers found at the salvation army store. It definitely has character! The beach and sunset are awesome. The wifi is really horrible. And the cell signal is terribly weak. If they only fixed the wifi it would help justify the room rates they charge. And breakfast could be also be improved. But chill out and enjoy Palawan 🙏
Dirty room, cackaroches. No cleaning at all. At premises a full trash bins. Rooms have no window at the garden side.
First hotel in Philippines, where is hot wster in a shower. Nice patio at the beach.
The room #1 was great for the view and the bed was comfortable, however, being next to the restaurant sucked! People were loud until after midnight and the staff were nowhere to be found to complain to so I had to tell others to be quiet myself. The water in the bathroom stunk like sewage and the room needed repair as it was old and dated. Furthermore, with breakfast included, it was not good and the staff would either knock on your door late at night or early morning waking you up to ask for what you wanted to eat the next day only to be met with a cold meal when you got up to the restaurant. Lastly, the dogs around in the restaurant stunk and caused fleas to be around. Like I said, the location right on the sunset beach is amazing, but the place needs serious attention to look after their patrons…hopefully the nice front desk lady sees this and makes it better for others. There are many other properties close by that we would stay at next time
Not recomended .. Booked two room for 7 people when we arrive in the place after 5 hour of drive the staff said only one room available so mad we all tried and the room smell pee and insect and mosquitos I complain in expedia however no available hotel in the area. imagine 7 people in room . The next day they give us another room on the top of the Property called straiway to heaven to go up there is so scarry . When time to shower the Water is smell sower. This place is discomfort only the best in this place is a front beach view
Fantastic value for money stay in El Nido. Make sure you get a room overlooking the beach. Cleanliness could be better but everything else including staff helpfulness is first rate. Don’t be picky and you will really enjoy your time here.

The only thing.we.did not like were the mosquitoes
Great place, great staff, great location. The only issue I had was the noise of the dogs barking way too much at night. They had some house dogs that they should really put somewhere else besides, let them walk around at night because the other dogs on the beach will try and out bark them.
We liked the beach view from the restaurant and super friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to the beach.
Our breakfast was included, however the options weren't great and portions were small.
Our room was nice and spacious, good AC ,however the shower was not great, on one or two occasions we had no water at all.
Overall we had a very nice stay!
I like this place. It’s not perfect like other modern western style hotels. But it’s the imperfections that make this hotel perfect for me. The cottage has character. The garden is so peaceful. And the beach is literally 4 steps down from the patio. Can’t say enough about the staff. No uniforms here. Just friendly and accommodating people that treat you like family. And they have puppies! Yes puppies! Two adorable and very friendly puppies. My son loved them. We’ll be back!
Sunsets at our balcony were great. Our room is in disrepair. Cracks on the wall, tiny roaches scrambling, water was brownish...yes, as in rusty and smelly too. AC was working but filter is full of dust. No soap or anything in the room. Breakfast reservation was at 7am, nobody was there. We had to wait for 15 or more minutes before someone greeted us to check in. They were painting the walls, great. But, more than that they should deep clean the rooms and rstaurant. Overall, the place can be in a much better shape if managed properly. Will I recommend Island Front? No!

So when I first got here, there was so much wrong with this place that I was leaning toward two stars, but then overtime, the view and amazing staff won me over. So let’s touch upon some of the bad before we can focus on the good.
First, my check-in was delayed until 4 o’clock. Not a major thing, but a little annoying. However, something that was really annoying was the construction that went on all day long. Oh, and on the note of construction, I got trapped in my first room (the moved me to three rooms throughout my stay) when the lock seem to break for no reason. One of the hotel workers heard my cries, and we were able to free me by slipping the key out the window.
So how does this place rate four stars. Well, the view for one. It was so relaxing to get away from El NIDO proper, and just spend the day looking at the waves and those giant rocks off shore. The area of success was the staff. Everyone was so nice, and so friendly that I soon forgot the negatives. In fact, when I got sick, the manager sent her employees out for medicine and supplies. The genuinely concerned for my health and that means a lot
So would I stay here again. Yes.
