Enjoyed snack and delicious drinks at bar by the pool. The Zorro sho we was fun and the dinner choices were very nice. The Arranchera was very delicious. The room shower was strong snd with hot water. On our last day, the cleaning attendant left a hand written note expressing her gratitude for serving us. Will definitely visit again.

Great Choice!

This is one of the most intriguing hotels we have encountered. A complex facility with numerous beautiful courtyards. The Zorro show was well-paced and just the right length. Meals were excellent.

Make sure you have mosquito spray, the hotel has beautiful gardens and i don’t think the spray so the mosquitoes are a real problem

Hotel is beautiful but watch the mosquitos.

MOSQUITOS!!!! Just wear bug spray. The town is cute, and this resort is really nice. Great list pool and bar area and just a short walk to the square with lots of options for food. Room is comfortable

We loved this hotel, great pool, good food, exceptional people. Paul, Fransisco and Vilma went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The kids enjoyed the Zorro show. We walked to the river and saw some cool birds and took in the friendly neighborhood.

Ruined our family getaway

Arrived and they had given my room away to somebody else under my name and gave me another room that we barely fit in three people in one bed room was dirty. Staff was rude. Terrible terrible trip.

I was really disappointed with our room. Came into our room I Realize a little water on the ground but not a big deal. When we step out of our room and came back in we realized there was a lot of water on the ground. Went to look for the service desk because this room did not have a phone to call. The Maintence guy came and said it was a internal leak and all he could do is put two towels on the ground. The manager couldn’t even accommodate us for the inconvenience. I told him I got a a toddler and what are we going to do if we wake up and it’s flooded and someone slips and falls especially my toddler didn’t say anything totally disappointment….

Fue por dos factores el personal ( solo algunos) y la habitación. En la habitación precio calidad muy mala, nunca funcionó el aire acondicionado y el agua del baño al bañarse se salía de baño hacía la habitación por lo que se mojaron alguna de mis cosas. En cuanto al personal, pedí información de algunos asuntos más de 4 veces y nunca recibí respuesta

La experiencia con hoteles Balderrama fue pésima y el Hotel Posada del Hidalgo no fue la excepción. Habiamos confirmado con el Hotel que alguien nos estaría esperando en la estación del tren para llevarnos al hotel. A la hora de llegar, resulto que no tenian nuestros nombres y no tenian ninguna solución mas que decir no estabamos en la lista. Subimos a un taxi donde se acerco alguien del hotel informándonos que nosotros tendríamos que pagar. Al final si nos reembolsaron el costo del taxi ya que reconocieron su error, pero fue un disgusto grande que nos dejo con mal sabor de boca. Uno espera un servicio de primera cuando es por lo que estas pagando. La comida en el restaurante del hotel dejaba muchísimo que desear. Y para terminar con broche de oro, el show del Zorro es una farsa total. La cama en la que dormí rechinaba con cada movimiento al punto que me despertó varias veces durante la noche. La frase en la pagina de Hotels.com acerca de este hotel que dice "where river views and luxurious amenities come together" es una mala representación de este hotel.
