This is one of those places that fills a need for accommodation in between destinations. For the price it is quite good - clean and quiet - but nothing fancy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The town doesn't really have anything but it is conveniently located between Almeria and Motril.

We had a lovely stay here, rooms were spacious and there was a decent breakfast offering though the selection decreased following the Easter period. During the peak period there was significant noise in the atrium and then by the pool bar during the night, given this I would probably only return ...

Moon Dreams Portomagno
We only stayed for one night as a stopover but the pool facilities were a great bonus for us, particularly with the children. A stones throw from the beach, plus restaurants, it felt like a nice resort close to, but away from the mania of the Costa Del Sol.
