Great cabin with wonderful view. Silent, but close to the next town. Everything is very clean and well equipped. The hosts welcomed us personally and we immediately felt like at home.

Un lugar de sueño. Las cabañas muy bonitas y amplias con todos los servicios (cocína, sala, TV). La limpieza es excelente y las 2 habitaciones en la cabaña muy cómodas. Las camas muy buenas con sábanas limpias y nuevas. En general el lugar es una excelente opción para pasar la noche con la familia.

Far and away the best place we stayed in Iceland over our 10 day trip. Immaculate new private cabins with amazing views from inside the cabin and covered deck. It was the only place we wished we stayed more nights at while touring ring road. Ari and Naomi are exceptional and knowledgeable hosts. They met us for check in at the requested time despite — due to our own fault — us not being able to contact them as described (we shouldn’t have dialed the country code:( ). We felt very welcome and were happy they shared great recommendations for travel, food and hikes. They also had treats waiting for us and offered to mail us a trivial item left behind. To stay anywhere else in this area would be a mistake. Great place and remarkable hosts.

Comfortable Cabin in the Country

Wonderful cabin in the countryside, but only 5 minutes from Egilstadir. Great base to explore the area. Cabins were comfortable, clean and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Géniale cabine dans un point central de l'est

Super emplacement. Cabine assez petite mais bien disposée avec petit coin pour cuisiner et BBQ à l'extérieur. Parfait pour loger toute la famille (deux chambres + sofa convertible dans le salon). Emplacement central pour visiter l'est islandais. Propriétaires très sympathiques. Aucun point négatif.

Friendly Welcome & a lovely cabin

We were made very welcome on our arrival. It was good to actually meet the owners of where we stay and discuss live in Iceland with them. Would loved to have stayed longer as in a good spot to do many things. Hope to be back soon

FANTASTIC

These cabins were absolutely great. It was spotless, very newly built, secluded but not very far from the city (which is great for aurora), and has one of the nicest hosts I’ve ever met. Would recommend to anyone.
