Friendly and helpful front staff. Hotel offers over height parking. Fridge was awkwardly small and could not fit our leftovers.

Might look a little rough on the outside but the inside is really nice. Everything was in good shape, staff were helpful and the breakfast was great.

The mattress had a day on the right side with springs noticable. It was a long size bed. The phoned don't work anymore so how does one phone the front desk ? The restaurant had terrible good this hotel used to be the nice place to go for fringing and had gone downhill.. It's sad..

Listed as boutique and a 4-star property, the walk from the parking garage to the hotel is unsafe and unclean. The lobby is slightly nicer than average and the rooms are clean. The bathroom was not a 4-star tier of clean, shower scum and dirty walls. Location is great, wouldnt book again.

We stayed here at the beginning of the Fringe Festival. It wasn’t very busy at all but the cars that roared up the street & revved their engines until midnight was loud and distruptive. Other guests arrived into their room through the emergency stairs at 3:30am and socialized until 5am didn’t allow for sleep. We will not stay here again.

This place was fine but the front desk staff particularly were rude, and just straight out mean to be honestly. They knew how to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome that’s for sure. The restaurant staff though, is a whole different story. They were so nice and so kind and very accommodating. The housekeepers were also very rude. They would use their keys to barge into my room without knocking or stating house keeping is coming in. Very uncomfortable.

Stayed for 2 nights, and it was adequate. Pros- good wifi, quiet room, good air conditioning, and close to restaurants and shops, price was decent Cons- bed was awful. Very old soft bed, sheets were average and the pillows were terrible. Very lumpy. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and I left for the entire day, and got back to the room at 3:30, and housekeeping still hadn’t attended to the room. Towels were definitely on their last legs. I would stay here again in a pinch, but it’s definitely not a 4 star hotel. Maybe a low 3

I have stayed here multiple times and it’s always a pleasant stay. Rooms are renovated and comfortable. The only thing it’s missing is a fridge. I still always come back!

Cute layout and excellent location. The room was clean and staff were helpful. There were so many hidden fees that an estimated/ advertised $350 stay was closer to $500. The AC was not working, so we had to crank it to zero and it wasn’t until the second evening that we noticed the room feeling cooler than outside or the hallway. You can hear the hallway occasionally if you are in your room, but you can hear inside all rooms as you walk past them. The sounds of the street are well-muffled to hushed ambience, which I enjoyed in our street-facing room. I would not recommend staying here if you have mobility difficulties, as parking is not what I would consider ‘on site’. The connection between the parkade requires stair mobility and walking through a long, narrow, and winding mezzanine for larger rooms that are available for booking as event venues. The building has an elevator in the lobby, but stairs are needed to get from the street into the lobby. I know that it is difficult to change the bones of a building, but the renovations leave accessibility to be desired at this point. The impact of current renovations: room has a fresh pain smell, a dumpster blocks the pull-up/unloading zone where guests would normally leave their car while checking in. We had to park two blocks away before walking to check in, walk back to the car, park in the parkade, and navigate the stairs and mezzanine with our stuff. Great location, but not worth it. We’ll probably stay elsewhere, next time.
