Breakfast is included in the rate, basic buffet offerings. Parking is 2 blocks away - $22 a day if you park it yourself, $27 if you do valet parking. Noise from Whyte Ave is loud on weekends if you can’t tolerate earplugs. Would stay again for the convenience of location to Whyte ave and free breakfast.

We didn't have the opportunity to take advantage of the free breakfast, but the area was lovely and staff are incredible. The valet parking was so appreciated! We only came in for one night, but will definitely book again for our next trip to Edmonton.

Only complaint was how hot the hotel was. We walked into our room and were met with a wave of heat. It was probably 23° in the room and we found a note in the room that said the hotel doesn’t run AC in the “winter months” (stayed April 17-19). The only option was to open the patio door, which was fine during the day but the property is surrounded by nightclubs. We laughed when we saw ear plugs on the bedside tables to “drown out the Whyte noise”. We spent a fair bit of time in our room and so got to enjoy the variety of auditory delights ranging from street preachers to buskers with electric guitar and a full drum kit and the thumping bass of night club life and wafting cloud of marijuana smoke. The hotel itself was fine. I actually really liked the breakfast and the staff were all pleasant and helpful, but we are not party people and so likely won’t visit again!

Can’t beat the location, and the staff. Hands down amazing and so was the valet parking. However, in the warmer “spring” months the hotel doesn’t turn on their AC making the room very hot. And due to the busy location (though convenient) made it too loud to open a windows. The front desk was able to reimburse for our second night because we couldn’t sleep there again.

First off, there is no parking at the property so unloading your luggage is a pain! Secondly, if you need a cool room to sleep, I strongly recommend you skip this hotel. We had a west facing room on white ave that got very hot at night. You can’t exactly open the windows because of the party noise from the nearby clubs. And the property does not turn their AC on until the summer, as per management. Fortunately management was reasonable to deal with and helped compensate us for the issues.

Always liked this place but a few things this time makes me think things are going a little downhill. First, the temperature in the rooms was sweltering and there was nothing you could do to adjust it, other than opening up the sliding door to the little balcony. They did send us up a a fan but evenings were hard to sleep through. Worse was the temperature in the gym. Felt like you were working out in Death Valley in the middle of the summer. Breakfasts were not as good, either. Eggs now seem powdered. Coffee was weak and no way Starbucks’s as advertised. Nice to get complimentary valet but one day after returning our car at 12:30 in the afternoon, we were walking out to go for dinner at 5 and the car was still outside. They forgot to park it. Staff still pretty friendly and good location on Whyte Avenue. But hotel needs to up its game as people will stop coming if they don’t.

The breakfast was good , the parking situation is a bit of a hassle, and they left our vehicle out front for a whole afternoon! The only reason why we noticed was we were walking by and seen it out front!
