Disappointing experience. We had 3 rooms reserved and asked for early check-in, but were turned away 45 mins before 4 PM unless we paid $20 per room—this was never disclosed during booking. Staff wouldn’t hold our luggage for all 3 rooms, only one. At 5 PM, rooms still weren’t ready, despite being told earlier we could have checked in at 3:15 for a fee. A false alarm was happening when we arrived—flashing lights, firefighters present, but no communication from staff. Kids weren’t allowed to swim since we weren’t “checked in,” though rooms were paid. All of us had to attend a Broadway show in travel clothes. On our 3rd check-in attempt, we were made to wait again; kids got only 5 minutes in the pool before closing. One room had a dirty sock left behind. Poor communication, unclear policies, and lack of cleanliness made this a frustrating stay for 3 families traveling with children.
