No unpleasant smells just a pleasant smelling cleaning product. Some lights on for us and room AC was pre set to comfortable temperature. Furniture and fixtures modern and with no issues. Bedding fresh and soft. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom just also well maintained and clean. Checkout was also very pleasant Manger/Desk...
