  • Growing up in Australia listening to the tales of bravery and valour shown by both sides at Gallipoli in 1915, it was only natural that it was one of the first places I should visit in Turkey. This is the French Military Cemetery and it was so incredibly peaceful, it was one of my favourite places. It is beautifully tended, with lovely views out over the sea and I was the only person there - probably because it was the middle of winter! I will go back here and spend a few days self driving in order to spend more time in places like this. I am glad i did a tour that first day though, being both pushed for time and interested to hear the Turkish perspective from my very knowledgeable guide.

Best hotel in canakkale

Amazing hotel in canakkale, better than many I've seen in Napa Valley. Highly recommend. Food, wine, spa, and property all amazing.

We spent the last 3 days at Hotel Caeli and Winery as one of the very few guests in their off season. This active farm, vineyard and wine production company also sits on acres of forest land and is literally the only thing within 20 KM so we had the unique feeling of being completely isolated in nature. Flowers were in bloom all around us so the air was fragrant. We drank organic wine, ate farm to table food, played in the hydro- spa and wandered in the woods, discovered the secret gardens of the Alice and Wonderland themed resort and played with the goats and dogs. It was very much paradise and I was very sad to leave. The beauty and small-detailed luxury will stay with me for a long time to come. This stay was perfect.

Little disappointing. Paid ridiculous amount and there wasn’t even water in the room. The wine tasting didn’t hit the spot, despite you make 80 percent of red wine the serving was much on white and cheap wines. Signature wines wasn’t even part of the tasting. Most disappointing part was I asked to purchase wine and she told me I can only purchase them for the restaurant price during my stay can’t sell me for the sale price until my departure! This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard! How can you even expect your guests to pay full restaurant price to purchase. I stayed at Bengodi the night before and it was whole a lot better!

Otel konaklaması tatmin ediciydi. Etkileyici iç dizaynı ile unutulmayacak bir otel. Fakat işletme olarak biraz sade, şaraphane otel dizaynında olan otellerde daha fazla ilgi gereklidir. Otelin adının latince olmasına karşın sadece sahipleri istiyor diye İtalyanca okunmasını sahiplik egosu olarak tanımlamaktan başka bir seçenek yok. Hizmet kalitesi iyiydi ama otel tam olarak maksadına uygun olarak işletilmediği düşünüyorum. Biraz sahipleri için lüks bir buluşma yeri olarak tasarlanmış.
