「Very inviting historical hotel. Nicely updated. Loved the shared refrigerator and especially the common sitting room with comfy chairs, sofas, game, books, even vintage chess set!」

「Stayed in Baker City while travelling to Utah. Hotel was located just off the interstate making it easy to get up and hit the road in the morning. The hotel was clean and there was minimal noise considering being position just off the interstate. Downtown Baker City is approximately a 20-30 minute walk to the beautiful downtown city centre with lots of local food options if you’d prefer a sit down restaurant instead of fast food. Great hotel at a great price. 」

「A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. They made sure I got a shot at a second drink before closing as well. The rooms are delightfully furnished and the bathrooms are a standout feature. As they mention on premises,...

「We were unsatisfied because the elevator was out of order. We were on the second floor and the stairs do not have a handrail. It was dangerous. An email telling us about the elevator would have given us the option of staying somewhere else. The staff when they were available were helpful and apologetic. Do not recommend this hotel.Sadly.」

「Breakfast was ok not great. Room was lovely with a nice shower. Quiet and friendly. Restaurant was not open in the evening. We door dashed and that worked well.」
