Independent Eastern New Mexico hotels

"Government shutdown happened so no Caverns but we did go down to the Guadalupe Mountains to hike. This location is absolutely perfect for a trip to the caverns though. There’s a water park in season so families with children could have a blast. Hotel was clean and had no smell, which is a game changer for me. Typical rooms but have a good refrigerator, a microwave and small coffee pot. BIGGEST drawback…the only restaurant close closes at 3:00 so you have to plan accordingly or drive back in to Carlsbad. There is a small grocery store that has snacks across the street that stays open until 6:00. Will definitely come back to see the Caverns and hike more in the Guadalupe Mountains."

"We came dor a dive trip. Room was spacious for all of our gear. Everything was clean and worked flawlessly. Couple things that were minor inconvenience was WIFI did not work in tge lobby to go over videos with student and wish theee would be plant based option on buffet besides apples, peanut butter and sugary oatmeal. Otherwise we really enjoyed outlr stay and will definitely be back again. "

"Perfect location, very close to all the Main Street shops. Room was very clean. Very spacious. Parking for room is right in front of the room. Outside is very well lite at night. "

"The rooms are spacious, but it didn’t have a microwave. The complimentary breakfast offered banana bread and chocolate chip cookies which was good with coffee. The 2% milk was spoiled, but it was no biggie, we had fresh fruit instead. Beautiful motel, would definitely recommend. "
