This is a well reasonably maintained property and excellent value for money. Bedroom and bed were comfortable with decent sized enough suite room with a shower. Check in was good and actually checked in an hour early.

Typical budget accommodation. Stayed four nights. Decent value. I was on the 3rd floor with no working lift. Bedding wasn't changed nor were bins emptied without me having to ask. Decor was tired. Hotel has seen better days but it's in a good location just a few minutes walk from the shops, bus stops and seafront. I wouldn't be surprised if it became a HMO or private accommodation within the next year.

This is a budget hotel which is reflected in the price. Excellent location on the sea front with free parking over night. It was basic as expected but clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Towels and toileties were provided. We stayed for one night and would stay again for an over night or weekend break.

The room was dirty and very outdated holes in carpets and windows that didn’t close curtains didn’t fit the windows bathroom was filthy would have been cleaner getting in the shower than when you got out. No staff available when needed ended up paying £15 a day parking because no staff available to get a parking permit. Lift was broken and we were on the third floor with my mum who struggles to walk. Don’t answer emails before stay

Very very noisy. We were on the ground floor. The walls are paper thin. Noise from a games room was very loud until about 3am. Noise from the flat below ground was very loud until after 3am. The decor was quite shabby and our room had a socket that was dangerously loose. One great thing is that the reception staff can sell you a £5 all day parking permit for the road just outside the hotel which was great value.

There was nothing I liked. It was rundown & in need of refurbishment. My bathroom was dirty and the carpets had stains all over them. The lift didn’t work & I was on the third floor. I would never recommend it & it spoilt my stay in Eastbourne.

It's ok if you just want a bed, toilet, and shower for one night at a low price, and care not so much about decor, comfort, or facilities. The place needs some investment in just about all aspects, carpets, rooms, cleaning, facilities. The good: bed and bathroom were ok or lets say adequate, the location is fairly central 2 minutes walk from seafront and 5 to town centre, the price is low, there is a kettle in the room and some tea/coffee condiments, there is wifi and a TV in the room. The bad: decor needs a major refresh throughout, it's all quite grubby, badly stained carpets, obvious bodge or make-do repairs in the bathroom, no fan in the airless room during a heatwave and the UHT milk condiments were 'off'. If you're on a low budget and need a bed for 1 night with small usable ensuite bathroom and tolerant of basic standards this is for you, otherwise try a premier or travel lodge or B&B.

I don’t recommend this hotel. Its only positive qualitiy is location. The first room we were given (3rd floor, lift out of order) smelt of stale tobacco smoke (despite 'no smoking' signs). We asked to change. The next room had an unwashed bathroom floor. The 3rd was small but we took it because it was cleaner and had a better view. When I noticed there was only one bath towel, I went down to speak to the male receptionist. I collected the extra towel from his office but the teabags he agreed to bring up to us never materialised. The whole building is run down and unwelcoming. We had booked for two nights but couldn't wait to escape after one.

The room was basic - reminded me of yha rooms in the 1980's. It was clear the owners are attempting to smarten up the hotel with new paint and carpets, those these havent reached top floor stairs yet. We were given a 3rd floor room. The lift is not functioning so it was quite a climb every time we returned. We were fortunate and had a corner room with 2 opening windows - fortunate in the heatwave. There was no fan. There was an iron (but no board) and the hairdrier didnt work. There was a kettle, a tv, a small table and a broken chair. There was no room service and tho we put rubbish bag in the corridor for collection it was still there 36 hours later. The sachets of milk were off and the teabags provided had an odd taste. Staff were very pleasant but ineffective. Being able to purchase street parking permit was really valuable.
