「Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.」

「WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. 」

「I booked and prepaid for a double room with en-suite. Upon arrival, when they saw I was alone, I was moved to a single room with restroom down the hall and downstairs. I am a 65 y/o woman, traveling alone. I need a bathroom at night. None of the sinks worked, except for the one downstairs powderoom. If I needed water for the kettle or wash my hands after toilet-down the stairs I went. This is not a lodge, it is someone’s home. I was very uncomfortable. WiFi worked as did the TV. No...

「I found this property to be very conveniently located. And all of the staff are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is to be aware that electricity and power at this location are not as updated as other hotels on the east side of Ireland and to be prepared and feel comfortable to ask questions as I did. From check-in to check out every question I had was answered far beyond what I needed to know and I greatly appreciated all the help.」

「Spotless, very well-equipped cabin in the most stunning location. The views of the Atlantic and Downpatrick head are stunning. The cabin is extremely well heated and the WiFi connection is perfect. Hob, fridge, microwave, toaster available within the pod to bring your own food and cook as needed. One of my favourite spots I have stayed in Ireland!」

「Nice fresh room with good size comfortable bed but very small shower room. The facilities are good and there is a car park at extra charge. Very central for Sligo. We did eat in the restaurant but did have a drink in the bar ( barman could have a little training in customer service nothing bad but a little blunt). I would recommend and will stay again. 」
