「Very friendly and helpful staff. I wasn't very happy with our room. It definitely needs an upgrade. The toilet paper holder was partially hanging off and a small part of the dresser was broken off. The bed was very clean although too soft for myself and my husband. The food was nice」

「Fantastic boutique hotel. Beautifully appointed and spacious apartment. Clean and fantastic location in small quaint area of village. Staff at Reception and within the on-site restaurant were super friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic and home made. Chef accommodated specific request without hesitation and wait staff very attentive. The ONLY drawback was the stairs. There are LOTS of them (no lifts/elevators). From the on-site parking lot to Reception and then getting to our room...

「The Highcliffe is lovely. Beautiful rooms, easy access to the beach, lovely staff and complimentary breakfast. Just a short walk to the beach and several places to eat. The walk from the beach to the hotel is uphill, but it's only a few minutes walk and there is plenty of parking right outside the hotel.」

「The manager, Mac, was very welcoming and took the time to explain the facilities within the hotel. Our room while a little dated, was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and contained a variety of choices. The dining room was tastefully decorated. Recommend staying here.」

「The welcome was great, and the food, drink and atmosphere was very good. There's not much immediately around it that I could find to do, but to be fair I didn't look that hard as it was a business trip. Would happily stay again.」
