We stayed here after a really long drive, in advance of a day at Durham University. We didn’t really use any facilities as we arrived late and left early but it was great value and the pub downstairs seemed to have a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Firstly, the location in the Hotels.com app is different to the postcode. Staff were incredibly friendly, from check-in, the breakfast, to check-out. Bathroom could do with a really deep clean, likewise tea and coffee station

Just perfect. Easy to check-in with very responsive, friendly and helpful staff. Room bright and welcoming. Bathroom bit tired and dark with faulty taps and shower head but clean and plenty of hot water so did not affect our stay at all. Beds very comfortable. Impressed had decaf tea in room! Fan and TV great. Quiet. Breakfast to order on time by very friendly and lovely staff. Bus stop directly opposite. Glorious part of the world. Excellent value for money. Would def recommend- thank you!
