"It is a small room, but it is clean and very quiet. Located in the heart of Shasta City, it is conveniently within walking distance to restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores. The room key is retrieved from a key box, so you don’t have to meet hotel staff, which provides good privacy. However, I needed a band-aid and a spoon, so I asked the woman at the front desk—who I believe is the owner—and she kindly brought them to me. She always greeted me with a smile, and I am truly grateful for her warm and friendly assistance."

"Very nice hotel and stay, beautiful room, incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. Dunsmuir has early closing times and variable days where restaurants are not open, so food options are limited. Would be nice if the hotel offered a continental breakfast."

"Just two nights so we could explore the area and do some hiking. Perfect place to stay. No front desk but they were really responsive by text. Bathrooms don’t have fans, but apparently they are planning a major bathroom renovation soon. The bathrooms were very clean, but definitely old and a reno would be welcome. Beds were comfortable. If we stayed longer we might take advantage of the outdoor gear they provide like bikes. Good quality stay for a good price. "
