「We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment accommodated our group of 6 well and was spacious. The furnishings are a little older but the grounds and the view to the lake are lovely. We enjoyed a drink at the onsite bar. It is worth checking the location on Google Maps as it is a little off the beaten track, but that is part of its charm. 」

「The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. 」

「The hotel is conveniently located for the ferry terminal, shops and restaurants. The staff at reception, in the restaurant and the bar were all helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful although the quality of cooked food was average. The food in the Rio restaurant was fine but the service was extremely slow - also there was no red Italian wine on the menu at a restaurant that describes itself as Italian (??). Our room was clean (apart from some mould in the shower) and over-furnished with...
