Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. Margo makes it seem effortless but could run a master class for other businesses on how to do this !! We will be back and bring the family next time!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Very friendly and good hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I had a wonderful evening, the owner was a lovely lady who engaged me in great conversation an even drove me to the local town to purchase food as i had arrived quite late in the evening.
The room was very spacious with a lovely little balcony that i chilled on while eating my food.
The bed was very comfortable and i slept great all night, i was even impressed by the very generous selection of Teas, Hot Chocolates and coffee.
A noticed cute little pictures and decorations that really fitted in nicely and where selected with great taste
and the best bit for me was a massive bath with jacuzzi function that i spent about 3 hours in and just let all my stress melt away.
A beautiful little find, hidden away in a beautiful part of the countryside and i would love to come back and visit again
if i am ever in the area this will be only B&B that gets my money.
Incredible stay! The mobile home was spotless very well equipped and cosy, the hosts were fantastic, nothing was to much trouble, the hot tub was a bonus and so relaxing. We had breakfast up at the house both mornings of our stay as it was THAT good. Huge selection and choice of breakfast and Margo is an incredible chef! Will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay 😊
What a brilliant 3 days away. We stayed in the mobile and had all the amenities of home. We booked dinner on 2 of the nights and the food was delicious., Margo the owner is a wonderful cook from perfectt steaks, superb chicken, home made bread served with breakfast then to top it all off Margo baked a fantastic cake which we enjoyed with lunch, what a treat.
What with the beautiful scenery, fabulous walks , peace quiet a perfect way to recharge your batteries. We have booked a return trip for July
Absolutely amazing. Margo is a fantastic host who will make sure all of your needs are met and goes above and beyond. Slept very well, very comfortable bed. Food was amazing. Would recommend to anyone!
I had a lovely stay at this idyllic farm. The skies were full of stars at night and the views were classic County Tyrone. Margo and John could not have been nicer.
A wonderful place to stay, nice comfortable very clean room. Owner was friendly and so helpful she loaned us her GPS to get to Belfast. Breakfast was outstanding. Was a bit out of the way of the nearest town but the accommodations made up for it.
We went up to Dungannon and had dinner. there is a nice view of the whole valleys there. a lot of history in this town. I think a lot of time could be spent here reviewing history.
there are pictish stones almost everywhere they are numbered. You have to keep a eye out for them. John that owns the place is a working rancher and the ranch is a working place. his wife Margo is a wonderfull person. They both are real interesting to talk to. They like to learn about where you are from.....
Margo and her husband were wonderful hosts. We got in late and left fairly early. However, it was our favorite place that we stayed during our 10 day trip to Ireland. It was in the country on a farm. Margo had cold beers waiting for us when we got in and a delicious hot breakfast when we woke up. Wish we could've stayed longer.
Croackgavre was excellent in all areas of a B&B., located in central N. Ireland in farmlands with sheep and cows. Scenery to take your breath away. Misty mornings to clear starlit nights, warm cozy wood stove with shandy, beers and complimentary cheese/crackers/biscuits, outstanding breakfasts of Irish frye or porridge complete with fresh fruit and yogurt, tea/coffee/juice. Enough to keep you satisfied until early evening meal. Room was two double beds (unusual), vanity, private balcony overlooking countryside, whirlpool and glassed shower enclosure. Hosts were like family to us, we looked forward to returning every evening to share details of our day and their day to get a peek into Irish working family farm., tour of their peat bog.
We arrived late (1am) after flight delays and were welcomed with sandwiches and drinks on our arrival despite the time. We were immediately made to feel at home and the owners are genuinely happy to have people in their home and are so friendly. It's more like visiting relatives!! Margo gave us directions every time we went out to make sure we knew where we were going and went out of her way to accommodate us with breakfasts at times to suit us. Even offering to collect us from a wedding we were attending, which is above and beyond what you expect. The B&B is spotless, the rooms very cosy and comfortable and there are lots of little extra touches to make sure you have everything you need. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place with more hospitable people and we would certainly recommend the B&B to anybody who is planning to stay in the local area. Home from home!!
This was a two-night visit full of lovely surprises, beginning when the SatNav sat down late in the evening and our hostess, Margo, drove out to rescue us in the dark and lead us 'home'. Next morning, after a great night's sleep, we both found a beautiful fresh fruit cocktail awaiting us when we arrived at the breakfast table. Never having been to this part of Co Tyrone before, surprise No 3 awaited us when we went outside after breakfast and caught sight of the spectacular view. From the hillside location, we could see all the way across rolling green countryside to Lough Neagh shimmering in the distance. At night, the lights of Coalisland, Dungannon and Armagh sparkled. As a city-dweller, the peace, the silence, around Crockgarve was a wonder. Yet most wonderful of all was the warmth of the welcome we received within. A couple of points. This is a guest house, a family farm, not a hotel. It's also in the countryside, nestled on a gentle hillside a few miles outside of Dungannon. For us, the rural setting was a joy. We'll be back, the sooner the better!!!
