Lovely big apartment with super kitchenette, that had everything required for a 2 night stay. Onsite parking was great , as were the small balconies to get a good air flow. Very handy sort walk to the centre of Dunedin and everything it has to offer. Easy car access to the Otago peninsular as well. We can thoroughly recommend this motel and Dunedin and surrounds as well.

I would highly recommend the Motel on York. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, and it was just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The service was excellent and the rooms were very clean

Location was convenient. Room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities provided. Standard breakfast with a good choice of evening meals. Lack of on-site parking was not ideal - had to park at Wilson’s around the corner Check-in staff very friendly.

Our spacious room with king bed and kitchen area was a delight for our two night stay. A 10 minute walk to the downtown octagon meant restaurants, galleries and shops were very nearby. We walked to all galleries, museums and sights. One note: if you want to see the blue penguin colony, book a visit in advance of your arrival!
